Default How do I create a form that can be filled in on the computer

I need to create a form that I can fill in on the computer monthly (with
varying data). Basically, I need to be able to pull up the original form and
fill it in with different data each month.

After you create your original, blank form, save it as a template.

At the bottom of the "Save As" window, expand the "Save As Type" box, and
click on "Template(*.xlt)", then <Save.

You can now open a *copy* of this template, preserving the original, by
clicking on <File <New,
And depending on your version of XL, older versions display the "Templates"
window immediately, while the newer versions need a click on "General
Templates" in the Task Pane to bring up this Templates window.
Click on the name of the template in the window, and you'll open the sheet
with a "1" appended to the name of the original template.

After you fill in the sheet, save it with a new name, perhaps a date, but
save it as a regular .xls file.

If and when you wish to revise or change the original, just make your
changes to one of the unused copies, remove the appended "1" from the name,
leaving the exact name of the original, and then again save it as a
Template.
You'll get the dialog warning, telling you that the file already exists and
asking if you wish to overwrite the original.
Answer "Yes" to this, and you have a new, revised, and updated template.
