I have set up an query through Excel that gets data through an ODBC link to
another application. The query works fine; however, I want to be able to
retrieve information based on a date keyed into the Excel spreadsheet instead
of having to edit the query each time. I think this should work by usining
parameters on the external data toolbar or drop down menus; however, this
option is not on. The option shows up but it is not available to be clicked.
