Default WHEN I COPY A CELL WITH A FORMU THE RESULT IS COPIED NOT THE FORM

WHEN I "COPY" A CELL WITH A FORMULA THE RESULT IS COPIED NOT THE FORMULA WITH
THE REVISED REFERENCES. HOW DO I COPY THE FORMULA WITH THE REVISED REFERENCES
TO THE NEW CELL?? I AM UNABLE TO USE THE "PASTE' FUNCTION AS IT IS "GRAYED
OUT". I HAVE OFFICE XP VERSION 2002.

First of all, turn off the caps lock, it is considered rude
Do you have any macros in your workbook? Is it for all workbooks or just
one?

How many cells are you coping?

Are those cells part of a filtered list?

Are you copy|pasting between workbooks? Are those workbooks open in the same
instance of excel (check under the Window dropdown on the menubar. You should
see all the open windows/workbooks listed at the bottom).

If you open both workbooks in the same instance, you'll get the formula.
