copying cells
I am trying to copy data down. I need to fill each of the empty cells with
the data that appears above it before the occurance of the next data item. Test this first on a small sample so you are sure you get it right
select the range, press F5, select special and blanks. Now type in =A1 (where A1 is the first cell counting from the top, replace it with your first cell, i.e. the cell that in your examle holds 9B0B4C504A70A90B14DFDAB0ADBE477D) press Ctrl + enter Finally select the new range and copy it, then paste special as values in place to remove the formula Done!
