How to use later version Excel file in 4.0a?
My laptop, where I have created most of my Excel files, is sick. When I try
to open files in 4.0a on my PC, I am told that the file was created in a later version. Since I can't get my Windows Professional to open successfully, I can't save the files in a version which will work at 4.0a on my PC while the laptop is out. Any ideas? -- Thanks, Ajimmo |

If you only want to print/view, you could download the Excel viewer.
Alternatively, without being able to open the files and save as a version prior to 97 you are stuck as the format was changed at that point -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England HIS "ajimmo" wrote in message ...
