Default Formula

I have a formula set that I now need to double click on the formula to get it
to update. Need help.

Hi Amy-

Formulas do not need to be double-clicked or anything else to update. As
soon as you change the content of any cell that the formula looks to for a
value and press Enter, the formula will automatically update to show the
current result. The exception is if you have Recalculation set to Manual in
your Excel Options instead of Automatic.

If Recalc is set for Automatic and the formula is not updating, there is
something wrong with the formula itself. First thing to check is whether the
formula includes an = at the beginning.

Post back with an exact copy of your formula if it still doesn't work (as
well as which version of Excel).

Hi Cyber Taz

my formula is =sum(f6:f10). Everything above in this column is dollar
figures, this didn't start happening until yesterday when I printed multiple
worksheets at the same time.
