Default Substitution

Is it possible to substitute the displayed column letters e.g. A B C etc and
row numbers e.g. 1 2 3 etc for other labels that would be displayed. But in
the formula's for A B C and 1 2 3 still to be used.

Hi

no, however, you can suppress the display of the row and column headers by
choose tools / options / view and unticking row & column headers.

Then what ever is in column A and row 1 would appear as the "headers"

No, the best you can do is suppress row and column headings, and then
insert your own in row 1, column 1
