Pivot Table WITHOUT summarized data
Using Excel 2007 I want my Pivot Table to NOT summarize the data; that is I want it to show each individual value. Unfortunately when you right click on a value and select "Summarize Data By..." the selections that appear are such as Sum, Count, Average. There does not appear to be a "do not summarize" choice. Is there some other way to have the data not summarized?
Surprisingly in my old copy of Access 2003, I get the exact table I want, but when you import it into Excel suddenly the "Data" area of the Pivot Table is now uninitialized, so you are back to the same problem.
The data is about 10,000 Real Estate sales categorized by Month, Year, and Subdivision. So you can imagine that the table will be very sparse, with some Subdivisions not having any sales for a particular month, while other Subdivision may have multiple sales. I want each and every sale to show. Currently Excel will only display a TOTAL for all sales in a month.
p.s. I *did* search the forums, and found no answer. Feel free to direct me to a previous post if this has already been answered.
