Retrieving Data from Hyperlink within Excel
I have a spreadsheet with a column containing Hyperlinks to data files. The files that are linked are either pdf, zip, or excel spreadsheets.
Currently selecting the Hyperlink within Excel simply opens the file (assuming the user's PC has the required pdf / zip / excel tools installed). The action I am seeking when a Hyperlink is selected is to either 1. Save the contents or 2. E-mail the contents. Does anyone have suggestions on how this can be achieved? |
