I have an Excel workbook with several worksheets. I want to email just one of
these worksheets to a friend. It would be great to be able to right-click the worksheet tab and find the option to send worksheet as an attachment. ---------------- This post is a suggestion for Microsoft, and Microsoft responds to the suggestions with the most votes. An easy way is to select and copy the worksheet you want to email, then
create a new workbok (excel file) and paste the worksheet in. Have done it in the past and works fine. "Elgin" wrote: I have an Excel workbook with several worksheets. Unfortunately, there is no built-in option in Excel to email a single worksheet as an attachment. However, there are a few workarounds you can use to achieve this.
One option is to copy the contents of the worksheet you want to send and paste them into a new workbook. Then, save this new workbook and attach it to your email. Here are the steps to do this:
Another option is to hide all the other worksheets in the workbook and then save and send the workbook. Here are the steps to do this:
I hope these workarounds help you send a single worksheet as an attachment in Excel.
