There may be an easier method but.............
StartRun regedit.exe Drill down to this key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\E xcel\Add-in Manager On right side pane find the Automation add-in and delete it. Gord ... (Hi)
I am still stuck ... Your method requires "Admin" rights ... :( Ok ... I did find the file, but not sure I should delete it where I found it (that's even if I can?) ... C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\MSCAL.OCX ... (It is "Calendar.11") I was browsing different "Add-ins" found under the Add-in's "Automation" Button ... I selected one & it populated my "Add-ins" Menu & gave me a check box. Now I want to kill it from my list of "Available" Add-in's & I do not know how to do it. Thanks for supporting these boards & offering the many solutions ... Much is learned here ... Kha -- Kha "Gord Dibben" wrote: There may be an easier method but............. Other than the Registry method I don't know.
MSCAL.OCX is not an add-in. It is the Calendar control file. It is not listed in Add-insAutomation AFAIK Sounds like you added a Calendar Control to your workbook. If you want to send the workbook to my email feel free. Address is gorddibbATshawDOTca Change the At and DOT Gord On Thu, 27 May 2010 13:59:48 -0700, Ken wrote: Gord ... (Hi) I am still stuck ...
