try conditional formating

=AND(B11="(blank)") take foreground and background as white, you can see them as blank cells

suppose B11 contains (blank), then the conditional formatting shows you as real blank cell (empty)

Instead of blank, what about invisible?

Use a conditional formatting that changes values that equal (blank) to
a white font, the values will no longer appear in the worksheet,
unless highlighted of course.
