How to you lockout the comments in Excell from other users?

I am trying to lockout the comments in Excell so that other users can just
see the data in each cell.

goto <tools<options<view and select none for comments this will hide there
is a comment. If you truely want to lock it out so there is no way for them
to see the comment, it will take a fair ammount of formating and VBA code.

patrick

You could create a second workbook for the staff to view. =sheet!1, etc.
This will not show the comments from your "master" sheet. All changes made to
your sheet will be reflected in the new sheet. Protect it to make it read
only.
Hope this helps
