Default AutoFill Option Button

I appreciate your response, but I guess I didn't make myself clear. It is
not Auto Complete that is at issue. It is Auto Fill. When dragging the Auto
fill handle in the bottom right corner of a cell that contains a formula, for
example, an Auto Fill Option Tag appears with a drop down arrow. When you
point to it, a Tool Tip box appears that says, "Auto Fill Options." It is
that tag that I want to turn off or prevent from appearing in the future. I
don't see anything in the Excel Options dialog box that will accomplish that.

Hai Loris,
I think you want to activate/deactivte the Auto fill Option in Excel 2007,
Then Click on Office Button --- Excel Options --- Advance ---
Check/Uncheck the "Enable Auto Complete for Cell Values"

Hope I may be correct, If wrong, Sorry

How do you turn off the Autofill Option Button in Excel 2007, i.e., how do
you turn it off once it's on and how do you prevent it from coming on in the
first place.

Default AutoFill Option Button

ButtonExcel OptionsAdvancedCut, Copy Paste

Uncheck "show insert options button"

I also don't like the paste options so I uncheck it also.
