Default lookup?

I am trying to do a type of lookup in excel. If I input a part number in cell
"e12" for example and I have a large parts list in a column "K" and
corresponding prices in "L" column, I would like to us a formula to locate
the part number from the "K" column and return the corresponding price from
column "L" to cell "f12".

Default lookup?

Put this formula in F12:

=VLOOKUP(E12,K:L,2,FALSE)
