array - how do I do this?????

Use sumproduct =SUMPRODUCT((A1:A7<DATE(2010,3,5))*(B1:B7="sallie" )) -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
