Using Excel 2003.

For some unknown reasons, the sheet in my excel file don't allow me to
insert comment (ie. the Insert Comment is greyed out)

How to solve it?

--Check out whether the sheet is protected.. (ToolsProtection)
--Check out whether the sheets are grouped. To un-group right-click on one
of the selected sheet tab, and choose Un-group Sheets
