One way:
1. Put 1 in a cell (say A1). 2. In A2 put: =A1+1 3. Now place the mouse pointer directly over the bottom right-hand corner until you see a thin "+" sign. Click on it, and while holding down the left mouse button, drag down col. A until you reach 100. Hi!
Here's a couple of ways: Type 1 into a cell and hit enter. With that cell still selected hover the cursor over the little black square in the lower right portion of the cell until the cursor changes from a wide + sign to a narrow + sign. That little black square is called the Fill Handle. While the cursor is a narrow + sign right click and hold then drag down the column the number of cells you want to fill. When you reach that last cell release the right mouse button amd a menu will appear. Select Fill Series from that menu. Another way: Type 1 into a cell Type 2 into the next cell Select BOTH of those cells Again, hover the cursor over the little black square (Fill Handle) until it changes. Then click and hold with the LEFT mouse button. Now just drag down and as you do the values will increment. 1)Put a 1 in any cell
2)Then click and hold the left mouse button on the lower right corner of the cell (the cursor will turn into a cross) 3)Hold down the [Ctrl] key and drag the sequence down as far as you'd like. Or 1)Put a 1 in any cell 2)Starting with that cell, paint a vertical range of 100 cells. 3)EditFillSeries. Click [OK] Will one of those methods work for you? -- Regards, Ron |
