Have you tried writing a macro and saving it to a button on a custom
toolbar ?

Clicking the comma icon applies the Comma style.

So if you change the comma style
In xl2003 menus:
format|style|select Comma|click modify

Be aware that styles live in workbooks, so this change will only change
the
style in the active workbook.

But you could create a book.xlt template workbook in your XLStart folder
that
has this modified style.

xl2003 and below will use that template workbook when you create a new
workbook
by clicking on the new icon on the standard toolbar.

When using the comma button/icon, it also adds 2 decimal places.

Is there a way to customise this button/icon... make it default not to
include the decimal places?

Thanks
Ben
