so, here I am minding my own business and I fire up my trusty excel 2001
teachers & students version and I get one of those C++ runtime error messages. Keeps wanting to start in safe mode, but that does nothing to fix the problem. Then it wants to repair, but that just goes to the office installer and tells me Word is successfully configured . . . duh, that's not the problem. And no, I don't use Norton, I hate those guys. Nothing has been changed on this machine in months. Excel worked fine when I used it just the other night. So, what do I need to do? Do an uninstall re-install? That's not going to be pleasant. |
