Default Why does my name get spelled wrong??

When using excel and I type my name in a cell it comes out as "Freed" not
"Fred".
Looks like it only happens on my computer when I open and use a new
spreadsheet?

Hi,

Sounds like an 'Auto Correct' issue to me. You didn't give a version so I'll
assume e2003

Tools|Auto correct options
Typw your name in the replace box and delete the entry

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.
