When using excel and I type my name in a cell it comes out as "Freed" not
"Fred". Looks like it only happens on my computer when I open and use a new spreadsheet? |

Hi,
Sounds like an 'Auto Correct' issue to me. You didn't give a version so I'll assume e2003 Tools|Auto correct options Typw your name in the replace box and delete the entry -- Mike When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the question.
