Default 2007 Text Box - Text Alignment

Hi,
I am unable to justify text inside of a text box. Even when I add the
Justify icon to the QAT (it is not in the alignment box and Fill is greyed
out), it does not justify, it appears to right align (at least on the last
line of text). I've been playing with this for 2 days. I hope maybe an MVP
can help or bring the problem to Microsoft's attention. It worked in 2003.
I have quite a few documents that use this and I don't know how to get
around. It started because of the 250 character limit - and since may people
are still on 2003 I need to make sure anything I do works in 2003.

Hi Karin

How are you entering the text? I've tried to replicate your problem.
Typing straight into the box is ok for me. Pasting from a word doc also
good. I'm just wondering whether it's the format of your source?

You're right, it works on a clean new box! I don't know why I didn't think
to re-create the box, but I didn't. It was an original text box from Excel
2003. I opened the file in compatibility mode and the text appears right
aligned, not justified and I cannot justify it no matter what I do. Thank
you for making me "think outside the box"!!!
