Default Citation?

Hi there,

Just wondering if someone could tell me what the proper way of citing
Microsoft Excel is? Do we have to include the registered symbol (®) after
the words "Microsoft" and "Excel"? People seem to take different approaches
in the published literature, but I can't find a definite answer from
Microsoft - maybe I'm looking in the wrong places!

Thanks!
