Default Alphabatize list

I have a list of em,ployees I want to alphabatize,. It has 2 pages with 2
columns of names on each sheet. I want the first part of the list on page 1
to have the name in the first half of the alphabet and the 2nd sheet to have
the second half. currently the first column has A-K and K is on the bottom of
the 2nd page and the 2nd column on page 1 startrs with K and goes through S
and carries through to the 2nd page and finishes with Z on the 2nd column of
page 2. So in short I would like A-K on page 1 in the 2 columns on page 1 and
L-Z on page 2 in the 2 columns on page 2

Thanks for the help

Default Alphabatize list

It's a bit confusing when you talk about pages - are these printed
pages, or worksheets? How many names do you have? Are the two columns
used for forename and surname, or does column 1 contain (for example)
A-E then column 2 contains F to K ?

Please give further details.

Check out this page from David McRitchie's site:

http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/snakecol.htm

It shows how you can arrange columns to print across like in
newspapers.

Hope this helps.
