Default column headings in excel

how can i change the letters in the column headings to read something else ?

Default column headings in excel

One way is to use Row 1 for your own headings. You can turn off the
display of the column letters, and fix the panes so that row 1 is
always visible.

Unless you wanted to change them to numbers 1, 2, 3, then the answer is that
you can't. If you did writing and debugging formulas would be a nightmare.
