Default "If"

I would like to add the "if" formula into one cell but obtain the results in
another one. is this possible?

Default "If"

Hi,

In short no because formula cannot push values out they can only pull values
in. You could do it with another formula in the 'other' cell or with VB but
more detail is required

When competing hypotheses are otherwise equal, adopt the hypothesis that
introduces the fewest assumptions while still sufficiently answering the
question.

A1: =IF(your_formula)

Some other cell: =A1

The IF formula itself, or any formula, for that matter, can only return a
value. It cannot alter a different cell.

If the contents of the other cell MUST be a text string, you should be able to
do that with a VBA Macro.
