I use data validation allot to restrict user access. Recently, in a financial
workbook I developed, I used data validation drop-down lists in several columns on all input pages. Most of them work, but the last one I made allows both the list and any other input. I have it set up to only allow the list and give an error message otherwise, but it won't restrict input. I have tried everything and I can't figure out the problem. I developed this in 2007 for a 2003 user, but I have loaded it in 2003 and tried to fix it there and no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! |
