Default Tracking Changes Column Limit

I have an excel document with a large merged cell box in it. I am tracking
changes which works fine for smaller cells but it seems that if the merged
cell has more then a certain number of characters (assuming 255) the History
sheet just truncates the cell info. Is there a way to either change the
History sheet to wrap the tracked changes or increase the column width the
hold all of the information that changed?

Try inserting an Alt+Enter every 80-100 characters.

I appreciate the help but even by hitting Alt+Enter the History Sheet will
still truncate the value at 255 characters. Even though in my sheet (the
sheet I am tracking changes) Alt+Enter puts the characters on a new line the
History Sheet continues to put it in a single line. I feel I need some way
to allow the History Sheet to wrap text. I am out of ideas but somewhere
there has to be something telling the History Sheet how to display and it
seems like there would be a way to change it to wrap text.
