Default cpu at 50%

I have a spreadsheet with 130,000 rows, and vba macro running several loops
torugh it. The odd thing that I noticed is:

The CPU usage stops at 50%. I am running windows XP, with office 2003 AND
Excel 2007.

How can I make it use all 100%?

I'd say is caused by the Hyperthreading setting on your PC.
Hyperthreading appears to be 2 proccessors and so when the CPU is maxed
out it only looks like 50% is being used. If the system actually coud
use hyperthreading you could achieve 10-20 percent more throughput, but
mostly it's just a waste of time. So disable HT and then it will say
100%, but won't actually accomplish any more.
