Using Excel 2003.
I want all the data in a row to take a specific formula, say = X * 3. But the value of X varies for each of the cell. How do I do so without having to type in the same formula for each cell? Furthermore I want the value of X for each cell to be seen. Thus I don't want to enter all X in row 1 , and in row 2 enter =A1*3. Then copy & paste the formula onto the entire row. Because by doing this, people can't tell what is A1, B1,.... Thank you. |
