I was in Customize function trying to enable the Stop Recording toolbar and
now in TOOLS MACRO the Record Macro option is gone. I'm working on a
project and I need this back. Can someone help? I'm using Excel 2003.

Try this:
In the customize window click the Options tab push the reset toolbars &
menus button.
Exit excel and re-load it

It didn't work. I checked with some co-workers, we all use the same version
and it is on their menu. Also, I have a Record Macro toolbar but it seems
disabled. I removed it hoping the menu choice would come back but it didn't.
Any other suggestions please?

OK. I fixed it. I went to CUSTOMIZE COMMANDS REARRANGE COMMANDS, then
scroll to Tools|Macro under "Choose a menu or toolbar to rearrange" then hit
RESET button. Hope this may help others that lose choices from their menu.
