I have a balance sheet set up in Excel. I copy a column of numbers from an
export of another software. The export has totals that when copied into Excel are a number. I want to copy this column of numbers over to my balance sheet, which works great, but I would like to keep my subtotals in my balance sheet spreadsheet to be formulas and not overwritten with the totals from the export. I have tried locking and protecting, but that just makes it so I can't copy the column of numbers over. I know I could do it in pieces to avoid the formulas, but am wondering if there is an easy way to set it up so I can still copy all at once, but have it "jump over" the formulas. -- Thanks, PJ |
