When I'm linking a cell in worksheet 1 to a cell in worksheet 2, all of the
previously hidden rows in worksheet 1 automatically unhide. Can I do something to keep the rows in worksheet 1 hidden until I manually unhide them? Thanks! |

Fwiw I'm not able to replicate your scenario. When I link a cell (presumably
this cell would be visible of course) in Sheet1 to another in Sheet2, other rows originally hidden in Sheet1 stays hidden. -- Max Singapore xde --- "scarlet" wrote: When I'm linking a cell in worksheet 1 to a cell in worksheet 2, all of the previously hidden rows in worksheet 1 automatically unhide. Are you seeing the hidden rows/columns when you're building the formula??
And you're building the formula by typing an equal sign, then pointing and clicking? If yes, then turn off the Lotus Transition settings. In xl2003 menus: Tools|Options|Transition Tab Uncheck all those settings. (It's really the "transition navigation keys" setting that's the offending setting, but I'd still turn them all off.) scarlet wrote: When I'm linking a cell in worksheet 1 to a cell in worksheet 2, all of the previously hidden rows in worksheet 1 automatically unhide.
