I'm having a problem. I have a workbook set up with two worksheets. The
worksheets are formatted the same way- they hold the same type of data. However, one column acts as if the cells are linked between worksheets. For example, if I complete cell D6 on the first worksheet, cell D6 on the 2nd worksheet displays the same data. But the entry bar shows the data for each worksheet, not a link. Also, when I tried opening the Office menu to select "Prepare" and "Break Links" I did not see "Break Links". So I'm very confused. Please help. |

Probably you selected two sheets the same time which will treat them as one sheet when you do data entry. Try to select another sheet to disgroup the sheet selection and go back to your sheet and then try it again. HTH. |

First, is the 2nd worksheet protected? If so, then if the cell has the hidden
property enabled under cell protection, you will see the formula output in formula bar, not the actual formula. Other idea: Did you build the workbook, or inherit it? It's possible there's a macro that is copying the data over. (In which case, you would want to know why it was put there before deleting it). To check, right click on each of the sheet tabs, and view code. See if there is anything going on behind the scenes. Second, the "Break links" is used to break links to external workbooks, not formulas referring to the workbook itself. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "NatalieGS" wrote: I'm having a problem.
