hidden Hyperlink
If I copy an HTML page from IE and paste it into Excel (2003) the hyperlinks
from the page remain. But if I look at the cell contents/formula there is no Hyperlink function shown. I can get the URL with a HyperlinkAddress function as descibed he http://www.mvps.org/dmcritchie/excel/buildtoc.htm Function HyperlinkAddress(cell) As String If cell.Hyperlinks.Count 0 Then _ HyperlinkAddress = cell.Hyperlinks(1).Address End Function MY QUESTION: Is there a way for me to complete a cell so that the effect is the same? i.e. the Hyperlink statement does not appear in the cell but clicking in the cell still activates the link. hidden Hyperlink
Do you mean:
Insert|Hyperlink (in xl2003 menus) or ctrl-k Or maybe... Another way is to cover the cell with a rectangle (and hide the borders) and assign a hyperlink to that invisible rectangle. expect_ed wrote: If I copy an HTML page from IE and paste it into Excel (2003) the hyperlinks from the page remain.
