If I copy an HTML page from IE and paste it into Excel (2003) the hyperlinks
from the page remain. But if I look at the cell contents/formula there is no
Hyperlink function shown. I can get the URL with a HyperlinkAddress function
as descibed he

MY QUESTION: Is there a way for me to complete a cell so that the effect is
the same? i.e. the Hyperlink statement does not appear in the cell but
clicking in the cell still activates the link.

Do you mean:

Insert|Hyperlink
(in xl2003 menus)
or ctrl-k

Or maybe...

Another way is to cover the cell with a rectangle (and hide the borders) and
assign a hyperlink to that invisible rectangle.
