Select A1:E5
CFFormula: =A1=MIN(A1;A7) Select A7:E11 CFFormula: =A7=MIN(A1;A7) Regards, Stefi John C. ezt *rta: There are two tables, say A1 through E5 and A7 through E11. I want to compare A1 to A7 and color the minimum, compare A6 and A16 and color the minimum, compare C1 to C7 and color the minimum, etc. I can figure out out to write the first comparison, i.e.select A1 and A7, CONDITIONAL FORMATTING CELL Value equal to =MAX(A$1,A$7), but how do I do the rest without individually selecting A2 and A8 and doing the same thing, C1 and C7 and doing the same thing, etc. Is there an elegant way to do this? And so I am trying to compare apples to apples (cell to cell) in two tables. Any ideas? Thanks for your consideration. John |
