Default Pivot Tables in 2007 don't work in 2003

We have the compatibility pack and when i create a pivot table in 2007 and
save backwards it only works if there are less than 40000 lines of data. I
know with 2003 we were limited to around 650000 lines of data but if I have a
pivot table with less than 65K lines and save backward the pivot table
disappears when opened in 2003. Any idea why or how to fix this?
