The macro recorder is your friend. Record a macro while doing and then clean it up. Assign to a button. -- Don Guillett Microsoft MVP Excel SalesAid Software "sbailey" wrote in message ... Hi sbailey,
In order to save your filter criteria and re-use it, we have to use Excel VBA. A simple way to do that is to use the built-in Excel macro recorder. Before you auto-filter your data, click on Tools Macro Record New Macro (Excel 2003). Then, perform your filtering. Once done, stop the macro recording. At this point, Excel have just saved your steps that you have just recorded and you may re-play it by using Tools Macro Macros and selecting the macro you have just recorded. Try it on a new set of data and see if it works. Thank you. Regards, Victor LAN |
