Default link to workbook from web page asks for username and password

When I click on a link from a web page to an Excel 2007 workbook, I am asked
for the username and password for the website. I can click on 'Cancel' and
then the workbook opens OK. This has only started happening recently, and I
assume it is something to do with having changed from Office 2003 to Office
2007. Can I stop this happening, and just open the workbook, which is what
used to happen? And will it be happening to other users of the website?
