Default Excel 2007 is stuck in Document recovery mode

I am unable to clear the Document recovery pane.
Power went out, it tried recovering the file and now it is stuck and always
thinks
the same file needs to be recovered.

No option to delete as it is grayed out. File has been saved several times.

I cannot find any reference to this nor figure where you keep the list of
documents
that need to be recoverd. I can't find any option to clear the recovery list.

SO, how do I clear the autorecovery list and stop this thing from coming up
EVERY TIME I start EXCEL 2007?
