how do you convert a forumula into the formula's answer
i have a huge database. often i have to divide one column by another column,
so that i then make a 3rd column which is all numbers derived from a formula. the problem is that i cannot cut and paste that 3rd column to another worksheet because the other two columns must be present in order for the 3rd column to work. it's really hard to work with a speadsheet when only 10 columns out of 30 are necessary. what i have to do now is go through one by one and write it in the number in a 4th column. with 200 cells this takes a long time. is there anyway that i can just convert the 3rd column which is made up of a formula into the answer of that formula. in other words, how do i erase the formula but keep the number? for instance i want to convert the cell a2/c2 = 4, into just 4 |
