Default Bypass Auto-Open Procedure

How can I bypass the auto_open procedure when I open a workbook?

Previously, holding down the SHIFT key worked beautifully (2003 and prior).
However, with office 2007 this no longer works?!

Thank you for the help,

QB

Doesn't work here either, not in xls nor xlsm files. Help claims it
works, so must be a bug.
