Is there a way I can convert all my files in Excel 2003 to Excel 2007 without

CONVERT FILES FROM EXCEL 2003 TO 2007
There are occasionally unexpected changes to 2003 files being saved in
2007 formats. I couldn't tell whether the tool described there makes a copy of the original file as the new format, or if it replaces the old file with the new file.
