I have a spreadsheet with a maintenance record for multiple pieces of
equipment.
I'd like to sort the data and count the number of times the equipment was
serviced.

the spreadsheet looks like:

Equip Date Completed
AC1 1/1/2009
AC2 2/1/2009
AC3 3/1/2009
AC1 2/1/2009
AC3 5/1/2009
AC2 7/1/2009

I can get the data I need by using Autofilter but my spreadsheet has a lot
of equipment, making me perform multiple Autofilters to derive my results.
I would rather have another row added after each piece of equipment with a
count of the number of times the equipment was serviced (something like a
subtotal row)
