Text Box Not Same Width on Screen As When Print
Hello,
I am creating a form and my text boxes are perfectly lined up with text above them. However, when I print (or when view in Print Preview) the text boxes are not as wide, so I have to keep adjusting them until they actually print properly, which is very time consuming. Any ideas? Thanks! |

Excel 2007, I presume?? If so, try this: Office Button -- Excel Options
button -- Advanced and then down to the GENERAL category and clear the checkbox next to 'Scale content for A4 or 8.5 x 11" paper sizes'. That may help. Hello,
No, I'm using Excel 2003 and the paper size in print options and page setup is letter. Any other ideas? The text box is one inserted from the Control Toolbox as we need the options they provide. Thanks. "JLatham" wrote: Excel 2007, I presume?? In that case you may just have to live with getting them sized manually. I
know that there are some such issues in Excel. It wasn't designed to be an exact layout tool like Visio, and I've seen people trying to layout floor plans and such who had similar problems in lack of maintaining size/positioning between what was on screen and what's printed. I've personally seen where text appeared to extend off of a "page" as indicated by the margins on screen, but print perfectly well to paper.
