Default Printer not picking up colours from conditional formatting.

Hi,
don`t think this is a printer error becuase same has happened on 2 different
printers.
My worksheet has lookup references from another sheet i the same workbook.
They have a number of conditional formating cells that either colour
backgrounds and / or texts.
On the screen these apear to be fine.
On print preview and on actual printing, the conditional colours don`t
appear, but seem greyscaled.
There are other colours that do appear: these are cells that I have coloured
myself: i.e. not reliant on conditional formatting.

Any ideas guys?
Thanks
