Default Excel 2007 is a WOFTAM

Like numerous other users who have posted commnets on here, i am having
trouble running spreadsheets with macros. One file i have takes between
10-30 minutes to move between different menu options.

Some people on here have scoffed at suggestions E07 wasn't beta tested, but
if it was, why the hell did they release it with such basic and fundamental
flaws??? And if they missed it, what sort of testing was it??!!

There appears to be no information or solutions to this problem on the
support pages and MS support itself is a waste of time. Clearly it is a
significant problem affecting many people, but Microsoft have ignored
it...now that's what i call good customer service!

I now feel slightly better having aired my frustrations.
