Default Formula stopped working

So my formulas stopped working on all my excel documents on all my computers
(pc and mac). For example my excel checkbook no longer works, when I copy the
formula to the next cell down, it copies the formula correctly but the result
is just a copy and not the correct number? On another document to do some
totals it worked at first then when I changed a price the total would not
change. Any ideas???

Make sure calculation is set to automatic.

ToolsOptionsCalculation tabAutomaticOK

Thanks. I have never had to do that and I wonder what made it get "turned
off" But at least it works.

Default Formula stopped working

Just open a workbook set to Manual, opening additional ones after that
sets them to Manual also.
