There is a formula bar that does that. Select a cell and type your name.
Now look above the worksheet on the screen for your name. That is the
formula bar and it always displays the contents of the active cell. HTH

Please describe what you're looking for in the body of the posting, not just
in the subject line.

Cell contents can normally be seen simply by looking at the selected cell or
looking in the formula bar.

What would you like to see and where?
